Exciting News from Scan Energy & Power Limited!
Scan Energy & Power Limited (SEPL) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a significant conversion contract by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL – Vizag Steel Plant). Under this agreement, SEPL will convert 2.4 lakh metric tons of steel blooms (150×150 mm) into TMT rebars of various sizes (8mm–32mm) at its Hyderabad facility over the contract period.
This prestigious milestone strengthens SEPL’s position as a trusted partner in India’s steel supply chain. This opportunity will enhance SEPL’s industry presence, reinforce its credibility, and open avenues for future strategic collaborations.
Receiving this conversion contract from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited is a landmark accomplishment for Scan Energy & Power Limited (SEPL). Partnering with a Navratna PSU of such national repute not only validates SEPL’s technical competence and operational excellence but also positions the company as a trusted partner. From an operational perspective, the contract will significantly enhance throughput at SEPL’s Hyderabad rolling mill, ensuring smoother workflows, higher efficiency, and consistent product delivery standards. It will also ensure better capacity utilization of SEPL’s facilities, which is expected to improve profitability.
